Amazing news! “Time’s Up Now” reached #1 on the National Indigenous Music Countdown. Special thanks to my fellow musicians for their hard work on this album, and to all of the radio stations for playing our music. It was important to me to write a song focusing on Female Empowerment & to discuss the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. Thank you for listening.

It has been 2 years since we last played this incredible Juke Joint in the heart of Edmoton’s Old Strathcona, and the band is burning up with excitement to pack that dance floor again! “Time’s Up Now” is #8 this week on the National Indigenous Top 40 Music Countdown! It was difficult for us to write this song, but I am very glad we did. I wanted to discuss the inclusion of indigenous women in the #TimesUp movement by touching upon the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women of Canada, and to empower us women to use our voices when confronted with any forms of oppression. Women are lights in this world, I have been blessed to know my share of strong, wise & kind women.
